When going grocery shopping most customers purchase products based on visual and textual appeal. Not on the basis of the exact nutritional info of the product. So why are so many food ordering apps over cluttering their user with information about the food's nutritional info?
The goal of this interface was to find a creative solution for a balance between visual appeal to the consumer, and providing the essential information of the meal.
The interface is minimalistic. Providing account, search, and checkout related features at the very top, and below that a navbar providing for the different meal suggestions depending on the time of day. The rest of the screen space is filled with horizontally scrollable meal cards. These cards provide visual images of the food and basic textual information about the food. There is also the option of further Nutritional info if requested by the user. Selection of the meals is as simple as a click and checkout is made simple with ApplePay.
